Using Talk2 IM - Configure Talk2
 

Talk2 PAL instant messaging. Communicate with your personnel, business associates, clients, and friends anywhere, anytime.

1. Configure Talk2 with the following settings:

  • Username: enter your Talk2 ID
  • Password: enter your password

 

Optionally, you may allow Talk2 to save your password and auto login (i.e. log in to Talk2 IM on program launch).

2. Click Login

3. Change your Talk2 Client Response Timeout to 60 seconds

  • Once logged into Talk2, go to Preferences
  • In Preferences, go to Login and set Response Timeout (sec.) to 60
  • Close
  • Windows users must restart Talk2 to register this change.

Note: If you are running firewall software, you may be prompted to allow Talk2 to accept incoming connections. Click "Allow" or "Allow Access" to enable this. Windows Vista or Windows 7 users may wish to allow access only on "Private networks." If you are unsure which setting to choose, contact the helpdesk or click the live chat girl for assistance located under the menu on this page.
