Availability Indicators
Controls
such as the online status indicators used in the chat system
allow users to feel comfortable with options they're familiar
with already.
Alerts and Chat Options

No need to visit for updated info. From the Alerts tab, members can choose ANY number of specific categories to receive instant notification of new projects or products posted in the marketplace. It can be easily edited under the Customize section. Members can even monitor multiple marketplace(s) for activity without logging in and out.
RSS Feeds

Members can choose their favorite sites, news links, and add them to the Alert menu keeping updated on a wide area of interest using the built in RSS feed option.
Live Category System
Members can opt into specific categories, either service or product categories of interest they wish to be notified in. As new auctions and/or projects are listed in those categories an alert would be displayed directly to the desktop.
What makes this category system unique is the logic behind the fancy graphics. Each category presented is loaded directly off Oilfield Directory's marketplace.

Multiple Marketplace Connection Profiles
This gives the user the ability to quickly switch marketplace alert profiles with different categories for other marketplaces powered by PAL.
A good example would be mysite.com and yoursite.com.
Custom Skins Theme Selector
Easily create custom color skins to compliment your marketplace theme and site design, choose predefined custom skins from the dropdown and create your own custom shade.
New Auction Alert Details

Information via double click within the app gives your user detailed information about the auction such as bid amount, declined bids count, budgets and other useful details.

Instant Messaging System
To ensure your members privacy is considered, there is a confirmation process each member will see when requesting new chat with other members. Additionally, members have buzz alert control, font message formatting control, File Transfer Support and much more!
Sound support is available allowing custom .wav files to play during specific alerts or events within the app.

Group Conference Chat
Members can easily invite other members who are online into Conference Chat mode where multiple members may chat together.
File Transfer and other 1 on 1 features only available in Instant Message chat mode.

Multilanguage via XML
PAL is multilanguage capable.
The IM chat / group conference abilities provide support for multi-language chat environments.
Contact Management
An easy to use contact manager allows members to easily manage contacts, organize contacts within custom contact groups and much more!
